Join the dedicated team at Collinsville Multipurpose Health Service, located in the heart of the Whitsunday Regional Shire, just an hour from Bowen.
This rural facility supports a close-knit community of approx. 3,600 residents and offers:
– 8 acute care beds & 7 aged care beds
– 24/7 emergency care & outpatient services
– Access to visiting Allied Health professionals, including pharmacy, radiology, physio, mental health, and more!

Experience and Qualifications Required
- Rural nursing and emergency experience
- Triage Skills
- Ability to Team Lead (may be the only Registered Nurse on shift)
- Knowledge of QLD ieMR and proficiency in using this system – Required to be trained in First Net, PowerChart and HBCIS
- Paediatric life support
- Imminent birthing preferable
- Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS
- BLS competency
- ALS competency
- Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)
- Manual and patient handling
- Infection control
- Aggressive behaviour management
- Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwifes for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect
- Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012
- Aged Care National Police Certificate
