We’re looking for experienced Remote Area Nurses to help deliver essential healthcare in Borroloola, a remote Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory. Experience and Qualifications Required

  • AHPRA Registration
  • You must have 4 years’ broad base nursing experience and 12 months Primary Health Care experience in remote communities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with community members and build relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a remote setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure effective delivery of healthcare services.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to the unique challenges and demands of working in a remote Aboriginal community.
  • Two current clinical references
  • Eligible to gain a National Police Check and an NT Working With Children Check
  • Current certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is an advantage
  • Immunisation evidence.
  • REC and MEC
