Description
Mackay Base Hospital is seeking two Grade 5 Registered Nurses to join their Cardiac Catheter Laboratory team. Located in a picturesque rural coastal town, this hospital provides a supportive and dynamic work environment. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) specializes in diagnosing and treating a range of heart conditions, including blocked arteries, heart structural issues, and abnormal heart rhythms.

Experience and Qualifications Required
- AHPRA Registration
- Cardiac catheter laboratory experience
- Knowledge of ieMR and proficiency in using this system
- Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS
- BLS competency
- ALS competency
- Manual and patient handling
- Infection control
- Aggressive behaviour management
- Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or midwives for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect
- Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012
